Welcome to The Hinchliffe Arms
Our view is to run a country pub where everyone feels comfortable whether it be to eat some of our home-cooked dishes or to sit in the bar & drink from our ever-changing beer line-up. We believe that the pub should be the heart of the community and we will strive to make this so.
Our desire is to offer the best quality food at affordable prices, made with the freshest possible ingredients, sourced locally, prepared & cooked to our own recipes.
A more idyllic setting cannot be found: on the valley floor, situated south facing, with two rivers crossing under the bridge leading to the only village church and one or two houses for company, the Hinchliffe Arms is bathed in sunshine all day long weather permitting.
Our food style is traditional English with a continental feel.
We offer several menus, all seasonal, including £5 tea time specials, A La Carte menu which includes a Pub Food section. On Sundays we have 2 courses for £15 or 3 courses for £19 plus our famous and ever-changing specials board which really are Special

All our dishes are prepared fresh on the premises by our chefs Sam Chapman & Michaela Beier to our own recipes including the accompaniments such as chutneys, glazes, dressings, pestos, bread etc, etc. We also have an extensive wine list and choice of cask conditioned real ales and lagers.
